2024 Grand Marshall

We are excited to share that this year’s Grand Marshall will be Vincent Bianchi.

Vincent Bianchi was named as the 43rd Annual Niska-Day Grand Marshall following a unanimous vote by the Niska-Day committee after nominations began in the New Year.

Vincent Bianchi is unparalleled in his commitment and loyalty to the Town of Niskayuna and the Niskayuna Central School District. After joining the district in 1969, he served 33 years as a high-school teacher and athletic coach, before becoming a Student Activities Coordinator, a position he enjoys today. He is also active in the Niskayuna Teachers Association.

Throughout his tenure, Vince Bianchi was on hand to lend support, answer questions, and be an integral part of the pasts, and futures, of many Niskayuna residents, alumni, and students. Vince was there when Niskayuna native Jeff Blatnick won the Gold for the USA in Greco-Roman Wrestling in 1984, the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and the COVID global pandemic of 2020. He can now add the 43rd Annual Niska-Day Parade to this incredible list of historic events.

On behalf of the Town of Niskayuna, the Niskayuna Community Action Program, the Niska-Day Committee, and the residents of our great community, we thank Vincent Bianchi for his support, steadfastness, and his representation of someone we can all admire.
